Four days after the governor announced it would happen, drive-thru testing for COVID-19 has arrived in earnest. But not just everyone can roll up and expect to be tested. Read all the details of the testing sites below before even trying to show up to one.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY

AVENTURA – COVID-19 testing is being conducted at Aventura Mall, located at 19501 Biscayne Blvd., near the JCPenney. The site is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Indivuduals who want to get tested must be 18 and older regardless of symptoms. No appointments are necessary.

CORAL GABLES – The City of Coral Gables is sponsoring drive-thru COVID-19 testing for residents. Testing is available to residents over the age of 4 years old. Testing is being conducted at 360 Greco Ave. Residents can fill an application for testing by clicking here. The test is $95.00 and all payments will be accepted via the online portal.

CORAL GABLES IN-HOME TESTING – Coral Gables Fire Rescue paramedics are offering in-home testing to senior residents and individuals over the age of 18 with disabilities who are symptomatic and home-bound. To schedule an in-home test call 305-460-5401.

CUTLER BAY – A drive-thru testing site has opened at the South Dade Government Center, located at the Lot E behind building, 10710 SW 211th Street. Testing will be available to those 12 years old and older who have an appointment. The site is open seven days a week starting at 9 a.m. To schedule an appointment, click here.

DORAL – Walmart has opened a testing site in the parking lot of their store located at 8651 N.W. 13th Terrace in Doral. Testing will be available to those 18 and older who meet CDC, state and local guidelines on who should be tested. Testing will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. through 9 a.m. Appointments will be required and can be made through Quest’s MyQuestTM’s app or online here.

DORAL – CVS has opened a drive-thru testing site at 10701 NW 41st St. The site will utilize self-swab tests. The tests are free and patients must register in advance to schedule an appointment.

DORAL – A testing site has opened at Miami International Mall, 1455 NW 107th Ave., near JCPenney and Kohl’s. The site is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Individuals who would like to get tested at the site must have a valid test order from a licensed healthcare provider. No appointment is necessary to get tested.

HIALEAH – Amelia Earhart Park, located at 401 E 65th St., has opened as a testing site. Testing was previously only available for those who are 65 or older and are experiencing symptoms, but the screening age limit has been expanded to those 18 and older. Testing will be conducted Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., by appointment only. To schedule an appointment call 305-268-4319.

HIALEAH – Larkin Community Hospital, 1475 West 49th Place, Hialeah, FL 33012, is open for testing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Patients must register online first and have symptoms of COVID-19. HIALEAH – Jessie Trice Community Health Center is conducting COVID-19 testing at 901 East 10th Avenue. Testing is available to anyone who is symptomatic. The site is open Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment call 305-694-6268.

HIALEAH – CVS has opened three drive-thru testing sites in Hialeah. The sites will utilize self-swab tests. The tests are free and patients must register in advance to schedule an appointment. The testing sites are located at:

HIALEAH GARDENS – A COVID-19 drive-thru testing site has opened in the parking lot of a Walmart store located at 9300 NW 77th Ave. Testing will be available to those 18 and older who are symptomatic, as well as all health care providers and first responders, or anyone in a high risk group with or without symptoms. The drive-thru site will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Appointments will be required and can be made through Quest’s MyQuestTM’s app or online here.

HOMESTEAD- A drive-thru testing site has opened at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Clinica Campesina Health Center Campus, located at 74 SW 6th Ave. in Homestead. This site will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Testing is only available to those who meet the testing criteria and have a scheduled appointment. HOMESTEAD – CVS has opened a drive-thru testing site at 2780 NE 8th St. The site will utilize self-swab tests. The tests are free and patients must register in advance to schedule an appointment.

HOMESTEAD – A COVID-19 testing site has opened at Harris Field, located at 1034 NE 8th St. The site is open daily, starting at 8 a.m. to individuals who reside in the ZIP codes 33030 and 33033 and are at least 18 years old, regardless of symptoms. MIAMI – Marlins Park, located at 501 Marlins Way, has been set up as a drive-thru testing site. Those who want to get tested must be 18 or older, regardless of symptoms. Appointments are necessary. Those who want to get tested can make an appointment online seven days a week, beginning at 9 a.m. The site is open seven days a week starting at 8 a.m. As of Aug. 5, people ages 18 through 64 who show symptoms, those 65 and older regardless of symptoms and all children ages 5 through 17 can get rapid antigen testing but must first pre-register here.

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE – A testing site has opened at Tropical Park, located at 7900 S.W. 40th St. Testing is free and will be conducted daily, starting at 9 a.m. Individuals over the age of 5 can get tested regardless of symptoms. POMPANO BEACH – Patients who do not have a vehicle can get tested at a walk-through site located at Mitchell Moore Park, 901 NW 10 St. There are no age restrictions to get tested at the site, but patients must be showing symptoms of COVID-19. POMPANO BEACH – Broward Health has opened a walk-up testing site for COVID-19. The site, located at Annie L. Weaver Health Center, 2011 NW Third Ave., will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, by appointment only. To be tested, patients must pre-register for a scheduled appointment time. Patients must first have a written script from a physician before calling 954-320-5730. SUNRISE – The Walmart located at 3306 North University Drive will be offering COVID-19 testing to those 18 and older with symptoms. The drive-thru site is set up in the parking lot on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will open from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Appointments will be required and can be made through Quest’s MyQuestTM’s app or online here.

WESTON – Cleveland Clinic has a site set up in Weston, not far from their hospital. To be tested here, patients must first call their nurse hotline at 954-659-5951 to be pre-screened. If the nurse determines the person meets the criteria, they will be given a confirmation number and given an appointment time.

MONROE COUNTY

Free COVID-19 testing is now available to all Monroe County residents on a regular basis. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 786-910-9764 or emailing TestingMonroe@flhealth.gov. There are three testing locations located at:

  • Key West: Gato Building at 1100 Simonton Street. Testing is conducted on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tavernier: Roth Building at 50 High Pt. Rd. Testing is conducted on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Marathon: Ruth Ivins Center at 3333 Overseas Hwy. Testing is conducted on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
